Special CHEERS (Children with Horses for Evaluation, Education, Rehabilitation and Socialization) presents its ninth annual Stand by Me fundraiser to support equine therapy programs and scholarships for children and adults with physical and intellectual challenges. On Nov. 7, guests will gather outdoors at the Special CHEERS expansive home on Clay Road to enjoy live music, food and drink tents, a silent auction and an open barn to meet the equine stars of Special CHEERS – all while observing social distancing guidelines.

Special CHEERS uses rescued horses of all sizes and temperaments to match the needs of our children and young adults. Funds raised will provide scholarships for those who need financial assistance, as well as feeding and caring for the horses.
