We Are Family, Nora’s Home Gala 2019

Nora’s Home invites you to its 8th annual gala, We Are Family, celebrating the gift of life. Guests will walk through The Post Oak Hotel to “Boogie Oogie Oogie” and enjoy a groovy cocktail reception with the opportunity to bid on exciting auction items such as a Texas-sized hog hunt, courtside seats to the Houston Rockets and a puppy! Partygoers may also test their luck with lively casino games before they are seated to enjoy a delicious dinner and the official program. Later in the night, The Grooves will break out the moves as guests dance the night away. All funds raised throughout the event will allow Nora’s Home to continue to provide a safe, affordable and comfortable place to stay so that families can focus on what really matters, the health and recovery of their loved ones.

In addition to raising funds to assist organ failure and transplant patients receiving treatment in the Texas Medical Center, this year’s event will also celebrate the grand opening of its recent expansion by honoring Houston philanthropists Carole and Jim Looke and Paula and Rusty Walter. This special “family” has continued to generously support Nora’s Home from the beginning and has helped ensure that transplant patients have a place to call home during their greatest time of need.
