Burger Joint

Burger Joint

This recent entry to the Houston burger scene offers a casual, landscaped, outdoor patio with lighting, bike spaces and a generous supply of large-screen televisions. I opted for the Classic Burger built my way – lettuce, onion and light mayo – along with bacon and cheddar cheese on their classic toasted bun. The Burger Joint serves a good burger at a good value, starting at around $7. The meat is automatically prepared to a medium temperature, for a subtle pink center. The charred crust of the Angus-beef patty from 44 Farms kept the juices trapped in the center, where they should stay. Hand-cut fries options include sweet potato fries, queso fries, chili queso fries, or bacon parm(esan) fries. The portions, while not large, are generous and filling. Not to be missed (I hear), though I did, are their adult milkshakes. I will indulge on my next visit. For the Burger Joint food-truck schedule, check out the website.
