
Jordan’s Homemade Smoothies
Ingredients:
Water
Baby spinach or spinach/kale mix
Frozen mixed vegetables
Variety of fruit (pineapple, mango, strawberries, blueberries, orange, banana)
Recipe directions:
Blend 1-2 cups of water with several handfuls of fresh baby spinach. Then add ½ -1 cup frozen vegetables and fruit you want. Blend until smooth. Can send smoothies to school in a metal Thermos with a straw. Makes 2 10-ounce smoothies.
Good combos: strawberry banana + almond butter; mango pineapple; blueberry banana + Greek yogurt; strawberry pineapple; orange mango; orange pineapple; orange + Greek yogurt.
