Michelada
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 lime, cut into wedges
¼ cup tomato juice
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Hot sauce to taste (such as Frank’s Red Hot or Crystal)
Crushed ice
1 12-ounce bottle beer, cold
Recipe directions:
On a small plate, mix the salt and chili powder together. Rub the rim of a glass with a wedge of lime, then dip the rim into the salt-chili powder mixture to coat it.
Pour the tomato juice, Worcestershire, and a few shakes of hot sauce into the glass. Stir, being careful not to shake the salt and chili powder off the rim. Fill the glass with ice, pour the beer over, and stir again. Squeeze some lime over top, and garnish with more lime wedges.
