
Sarah Sampson's Bacon-Wrapped Smoky Chicken Thighs
Ingredients:
Ingredients for chicken thighs:
4 bone-in, skinless chicken thighs
8 slices bacon
2 teaspoons Smoky Spice Blend (recipe follows)
Ingredients for Smoky Spice Blend:
1 tablespoon chipotle powder
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon onion powder
½ tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon sea salt
½ tablespoon black pepper
Recipe directions:
Directions for chicken thighs:
Preheat the oven to 375. Sprinkle the chicken thighs with 1 teaspoon of the spice blend. Wrap each thigh in 2 strips of bacon. Sprinkle the chicken again with the remaining spice blend. Bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken is 165.
Directions for Smoky Spice Blend:
Mix all the spices together and store in an airtight container.
