
Slow Cooker Turkey Pizza
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 ½ lbs. ground turkey
½ cup chopped white onions
28 oz. spaghetti sauce (Karina used a tomato white wine vinegar)
½ cup sliced mushrooms
1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
12 oz. package wide egg noodles, slightly al dente
2 cups shredded cheese (Karina used goat cheese)
Recipe directions:
n a large skillet, cook turkey and unions in olive oil until no longer pink. Drain. Then, stir in spaghetti sauce, mushrooms and Italian seasoning. Spray slow cooker or use a crock pot liner. Spread ¼ meat sauce into pot and cover with 1/3 of noodles and cheese. Repeat layering process twice. Cover and cook on low for three hours. Be sure not to overcook noodles.
