With 200 friends at The Wynden, Dr. Carl Schmulen thanked his wife, Lynn, for the 65^th birthday dinner/dance and mark of his retirement. He told amusing stories from his 35-year career as a gastroenterologist. The stand-up routines continued from family members Caren and Rob Sweetland, Danielle and Mark Schmulen, and Lindsay and Mark Schmulen, plus partner Dr. Ray Verm and friends Richard Rosenberg and Richard Josephson. There was an amusing video of seven grandchildren with their own quips. Party favors were Schmulen Happy Pills (jelly beans) packaged in prescription bottles labeled from the Schmulen Family Pharmacy.
