Princess Sophia Malavansos, a Chihuahua that played Bruiser in the musical Legally Blonde at Stratford Playhouse, learned to break her habit of barking thanks to dog trainer Rachel Long. Sophia’s owner, Missy Malavansos, who is a former SHS Playhouse actress, was ecstatic at the unexpected benefit. Missy’s sister, Molly Richter, was in the show in three roles. Kudos to Ashley Karolys and Emily Lindsey, who each alternated show dates to play Elle Woods, and the 38 cast members, 45 crew and 20 band members and two directors, CeCe Prudhomme and Christian Holmes, and choreographer Monroe Moore.
