Bill and Kate Robinson, with baby Nora, staged a race car-themed fourth-birthday party for son Liam.

The 100 “drivers” at Liam Robinson’s 4th Grand Prix walked through a track and banner entrance to get a pit pass and sunglasses to celebrate Liam’s fourth birthday. They chose a matchbox car to race and later received a medal to wear and a champion trophy. “Pit bosses” Kate and Bill Robinson and their “pit crew,” baby Nora and real race car driver Uncle Steven Johnson with his No. 42 race car, added to the scene. Chocolate cake push pops in the shape of tires, and race flag-shaped pretzels were “wheel” tasty. Some revved-up fans were Meredith Mraz, Ella Petersen, Rhodes and Ella Cate Harper, Kingston McKnight, Sam and John Henry Robbins, Jack Stephenson, Rhodes Harper, Harper Patton, Daniel Wilkin, Charlie, Max and Vivian Miller, Trey Smalling, Hadley Atwood, Hunter and Kaelyn Edmonds, Carter Wallis and Elise Hardig, Dylan Keracik, Brooke Davis, Ethan Kerr and Blake Vanderslice and Grace Franklin.

Although Sharon Brier grew up in the Rio Grande Valley she left as soon as she could and found herself immersed in all that Houston has to offer.
