The Memorial Drive Garden Club Flower Show at Lisa Kline’s home was all about TV-show themes. People’s Choice and Best Tablescape was Orange is the New Black created by Karen Bloomfield, Julie Brann, Suzy Godwin and Lisa Stephens. Best Theme Adaptation was a TV commerical, “Whiter Whites, Brighter Brights, Fresh Scent,” created by Liz Laporte and Kristie Rowland – with a Clorox container and bubbles as part of the arrangement. First-place arrangement, Mad Men, by Kathryn Schneck, featured Lucky Strikes. Alice Sadeghpour chaired the popular event with help from Joan Mendell, Victoria Blanks and Susanna Jeu. Tommy Thompson and Candice Thieme judged the 12 entries.
