Lamar High School 2003 and Southern Methodist University 2007 grad Sarah Lawson married Texas A&M 2006 graduate and Rice University MBA 2013 grad Travis Covington at the Wild Onion Ranch in Austin. To honor Travis’ Louisiana roots in the predominantly Texas-themed wedding, they went with a “Cajun Cowboy” theme for the food, with crawfish-etouffee pies and chicken-fried quail. They served bourbon-carrot-flavored King Cake for dessert. Guests enjoyed all types of tunes, including country, of course, by the Texas Unlimited Band. Wedding-party members included Jeff Borgan, Jordan Brown, Becca Burnitt, Logan Campbell, Julia Domning, Eric Doyal, Sarah and John Egerman, Sarah Hawkins, Daniel Jenkins, Sam Laurence, David Lawson, Robert Lawson, Margaret Pearce, Michelle Pine, Nora Reardon, Jolie Relyea, Megan Schuler, Anna Thomas and Zach Wolf. The couple honeymooned in tropical Anguilla.
