St. Mark’s Episcopal School Pre-K class

Dr. Gury Doshi (pictured) taught students in a St. Mark’s Episcopal School Pre-K class about her Punjabi culture during the school’s third annual Heritage Festival. Pre-K and first-grade students learned a traditional dance from the Punjab region of India while second grade learned the Japanese art of fish printing. Fourth-grade students learned songs from Zimbabwe, and preschoolers learned a traditional Bulgarian folk song. Sixth-grade students created colorful folk art, while fifth-grade students studied the history behind board games from across the world.
