In honor of Bill
Southside Place firefighters, residents and friends gathered to accept Firehouse Subs’ donation of a $16,000 thermal-imaging camera to the Southside Place Fire Department. Firehouse Subs owners Jeff Lepow and his wife Heather stood with the family of volunteer firefighter Bill Perlmutter, who passed away last year of cancer. Bill had helped get the project going, and he and Jeff had been working on the project together prior to his passing. Jeff ensured the project came to fruition. The camera donation is in honor of Bill’s life. Pictured (from left) are Lepow, Bill’s wife Marjorie, their daughter Celeste and granddaughter Maggie.
