Ces Guerra, Laura Guerra

Ces and Laura Guerra

Adventurists Ces and Laura Guerra recently traveled to Istanbul, Turkey. While in Turkey they took side trips to Cappadocia, Ephesus and Bodrum. They said Turkey is a fascinating country that houses many museums, ancient ruins and religious sites and is a cradle of early Western civilization. In Istanbul, they toured the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, shopped at the Grand Bazaar and visited the spice market. In the central region of Cappadocia, they toured the UNESCO World Heritage site at Göreme, took a hot air-balloon ride over the “fairy chimneys” of Cappadocia and took a short hike through the Rose Valley. A short flight to the coast had them walking through the ancient ruins of Ephesus and the House of Mary. Finishing the trip in Bodrum, they were treated to cool breezes, sunshine and a relaxing California-like lifestyle before returning home to Houston.
