Guests mingled at the Royal Sonesta during the 18^th annual Strong, Smart, and Bold Celebration Luncheon, which raised about $150,000 for Girls Inc. of Greater Houston. The organization provides support and leadership programs for girls ages 6-18. The luncheon began with a video message by Oprah Winfrey. Proceeds from Teavana Oprah Chai Tea, available at Starbucks and Teavana stores, benefit Girls Inc. In the mix were Melanie Gray, Mandy Kao, Irene Helsinger, Brian Ching, Misti Pace-Kahl, Candice Wells, Marcie Zlotnik, Cyndy Garza-Roberts and Maria Zerr.
