At the 11th annual Zina Garrison Academy Golf Tournament, lucky player John Hawkins hit his first ever hole-in-one – the first hole-in-one to take place at the tournament – and won a free Lexus from Northside/Westside Lexus. The tournament was held at The Golf Club of Houston, and proceeds went toward tennis programs for kids provided by the ZGA. Hawkins said, “I never expected this to happen, not in my wildest dreams. I’ve been playing golf for 40 years and have enjoyed playing in the ZGA Golf Tournament for the last 10 years, but this is my first ever hole-in-one.” Pictured (from left) are Lori McNeil, Zina Garrison, Hawkins, Carey Ford, Kent Wallace, John Wilkinson and John Hunter.
