Casey, age 2

My name is Casey. My father sometimes calls me “Quesadilla” because I act like a “big cheese.” I was born in Eagle, Oregon, at a kennel called Tamarack. My lineage is from generations of champion golden retrievers, so my father introduced me to conformation dog shows at 7 months. Right now I am a Champion Conformation Dog, working on becoming a Grand Champion. Since my father thinks I am pretty smart, which I am, I plan to get designations in Obedience and Rally next. Every day I trot next to my father on his bike with a Frisbee in my mouth. (Guess who has the more difficult exercise?) I must confess, what I love best is curling up next to my family in our nice air-conditioned house. Oh, the joys of simplicity. I just wish our two-legged companions could enjoy it as much as we dogs do.
