Tracy and Lolly

Sisters Lolly Friedman Miller and Tracy Stein will be honored at the Hadassah Women of Courage Awards Luncheon Oct. 19 at the Westin Galleria. Lolly and Tracy have both faced their own challenges with breast cancer, so the fundraiser is particularly special to them, as it benefits the Hadassah Medical Organization, which has conducted groundbreaking work in breast cancer research. Lolly, a Bellaire resident, has been instrumental in furthering the missions of the United Jewish Appeal, the Jewish Federation, Anti-Defamation League and MD Anderson’s Cancer Survivorship Steering Committee and its Clinical Care Workgroup, while maintaining an active law practice. Tracy, a West U resident, has been an active leader in the Jewish Federation, Anti-Defamation League, Vanderbilt Hillel and the Mental Health/Mental Retardation Agency of Harris County. Tracy and Lolly are pictured (from left) toasting to some quality sister time at Tracy’s house. For more information about registering for the luncheon, call 713-661-1022.
