The house was decorated with tinsel, bows and lights with a champagne-fountain centerpiece. Susan and Joe Winkler hosted their son Brian’s graduation with a Gatsby-style party on July 4. He graduated from Texas A&M’s Mays Business School with a bachelor of business administration and finance. Guests dressed in ’20s fashions, and feather headbands, beads and fedoras were available for added glitz. Brian asked his girlfriend Cara “Daisy” Caplan to say a few words. Cara, shocked, just thanked everyone for coming. Brian, on bended knee, proposed, and Cara cried yes as her whole family and parents Andy and Leah Caplan walked in for a hug. The wedding will be summer of 2015.
