Marching band
Members of the Lamar High School Marching Band were hard at work this summer preparing for their 2014 marching program. The theme this year is classic rock, and the ensemble will be playing Carry on Wayward Son by Kansas, Nights in White Satin by the Moody Blues and Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. The band will perform during half time at all Lamar football games and at the 2014 UIL Marching Contest.
