In the hotter-than-hot month of August, Shelley Williams hoped her baby boy would make an appearance earlier rather than later. A Tiffany-blue baby shower with a variety of blue candy and 50 balloons hosted by Margo Barry and decorated by Debra Grierson was held for Shelley at The Junior League of Houston. The only man allowed was Jeff Williams, Shelley’s hubby. The seated luncheon for 34 gal pals included Abigail Reiner, Anne Cody, Beatrice Bornibus, Beth Muecke, Cindy Thorp, Julie Dickinson, Laura Cheesman, Reagan Barry, Tracy Peddie, Sylvia Williams (Jeff’s mom) and Kathy McClanhan (Shelley’s mom). The baby, Jeff Walton Williams IV, was born Aug. 20 at 6:40 p.m., just in time for dinner.
