Hi. My name is Elvis. My owners adopted me from the Houston SPCA in June earlier this year. I was their foster pet for a couple of months before that because I had a broken foot, but they loved me so much that they decided to keep me. I was found as an injured stray on the streets, so nobody is really sure how old I am. I think I am only a year and a half old because I have lots of energy like a puppy. Sometimes I prance around the yard like a deer or hop like a rabbit. When my owners get home, I get so excited that I run laps around the house. My owners bought me all sorts of toys because I like to chew, including their possessions sometimes. People often think I’ll be the typical small-dog type, but I love everybody. I’m named after the singer Elvis Presley, and it fits because I am such a sweetheart.
