Fighting GAN
The Justin’s TRIumph Over GAN Luncheon, featuring image and style consultant Rebecca Matthews, raised over $32,000. The proceeds went to the nonprofit Hannah’s Hope Fund, which works to find a cure for this rare, fatal disease. Since two local children, 9-year-old Lexi and 13-year-old Justin Clark, were diagnosed with GAN last fall, Houstonians have stepped up and helped raise a total of almost $200,000 for Hannah’s Hope Fund. Pictured are committee members (from left) Julie Davidson, Mona Howard, Lori Sames (Hannah’s mother, who flew in from New York for the luncheon), Lagenia Clark (Lexi and Justin’s mother), Rebecca Matthews, Kristin Allen and Elaine Gartrell. Justin’s TRIumph is hosting two additional fundraisers this fall: a VIP luncheon and flight-line tickets to view Wings Over Houston on Nov. 1 and the inaugural Allies For GAN Gala on Nov. 8.
