The music of the Harbor Light Choir played as guests entered Bobbie Nau’s home for The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary Fall Membership Tea.  Co-chairs Betty Tutor and Carolyn Mann, SAWA president Lucy Lewis and Auxiliary founder Lily Andress welcomed the 180 women. Other volunteers, Gina Saour, Gayle Eury, Carol Sharpe, Linda McReynolds, Kristy Lietdke, Justine Klinke, Vicki West, Mary Maxey, Betty Hrncir, Susan Hansen and Billie Sue Parris, were delighted that over $500,000 in grant monies was awarded to Houston-area corps and Boys & Girls Clubs.

Although Sharon Brier grew up in the Rio Grande Valley she left as soon as she could and found herself immersed in all that Houston has to offer.
