Caroline Basu, 7, has been training at the Gymnast Factory since age 2. Affectionately known as “Buttercup,” Basu is the youngest member of the Gymnast Factory’s silver-level team. She competed in the trampoline, double-mini trampoline and tumbling events at the Levels 5-7 Junior Olympic National Championships in Spokane, Wash. This competition attracts more than 1,800 athletes from all 50 states, and Basu finished 10th in Level 5 trampoline. In addition to being a gymnast, Basu is a top student at Annunciation Orthodox School. She also enjoys horseback riding, reading and singing. (Photo: Champion Image)
