While Brian Kamery turned on the pool fountains and lit the tiki torches, Sarah Gauss assisted with a grilled dinner. It was a beautiful evening as they ate in the outdoor gazebo. Soon after, Brian opened a black box with an LED light beaming on an engagement ring and popped the “Marry me?” question. The couple wed Oct. 4 at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church, and they two-stepped to their first dance at the Houston Racquet Club afterward. They beached it on their honeymoon in the Dominican Republic. Parents of the couple are April and Joe Gauss and Bob and Bonnie Bateman.
