Our local gal Elaine Turner has been seen on many TV shows and featured in Women’s Wear Daily. But now P+R Productions has produced a video-diary series offering a behind-the-scenes look at the glamorous (and at times, not so glamorous) big life of the fashion designer. The YouTube video series goes along with her year-long campaign to highlight Cancer Support Community. She is selling a specially branded clutch bag and bracelet to raise funds. In addition, she will hold six to 10 events at her stores in Texas, New York and Nashville for other local charities to raise money. A premiere of the video was shown at her store in Rice Village, with pink popcorn and Prosecco. Follow-up episodes will chronicle her day-to-day adventures as she interacts with her “Dream Teams” and her life at home as a working mom with two children and her CEO husband, Jim Turner. Heather McLeskey introduced Elaine to the fans, including Jess Rogers, Jenna Jackson, Carly Burns and Brittany Boone.
