Highlights from Jane Dembski’s Retirement Party
Congratulations to Jane Dembski, who is retiring from her role as Director of Parks and Recreation with the City of Bellaire after 26 incredible years! Bellaire city employees and residents celebrated her successful career with a party at Bellaire City Hall on Friday, benefiting PATRONS for Bellaire Parks, Nature Discovery Center and Evelyn’s Park Conservancy.
Jane has helped the City of Bellaire in countless ways and, on a personal note, was instrumental in getting Michael and I involved with the City of Bellaire, which ultimately led to the birth of The Bellaire Buzz 14 years ago. All of us will miss her passion and dedication to Bellaire Parks and Rec and the community at large, but now it’s time for her to “hang 10” in Galveston, where she will be enjoying her retirement. The party was themed “tropical casual” in honor of the next chapter of her life on the beach.
Thank you, Jane, for all that you have done for us and for the City of Bellaire. If you would like to honor Jane, please consider making a donation to PATRONS for Bellaire Parks.
Please share your favorite Jane moments in the comments below and, if you attended the celebration, please share your photos and videos with us too.
