Joanie Jackson is a 12-year-old seventh grader at Second Baptist School and an avid polo player. She recently participated in the Filly Cup at the Houston Polo Club, and her pony won the prestigious Best Playing Pony Award. Joanie started polo school a year ago and is now playing at the 2-goal level. She also competes in the U.S. Polo Association middle school league. Joanie just returned from a polo vacation in Argentina where she played serious polo and was able to watch the top players in the world in the famous Argentine Open in Palermo.
