Warm sun and fun

It was low season in Akumal, Mexico, but this fun and close group of friends made high vibes wherever they went. Mady and Ken Kades, Sharon and Rich Maloney, Vicky and Howard Dyer-Smith, and yours truly with hubby Mike Brier ventured on a playcation at Casa Mayanah, a home on the water owned by 15, most Houstonians. Bone fishing and golf occupied some of the guys, but the whole entourage ventured to enjoy the nightlife in Playa del Carmen, the beach in Tulum, the marina with its manatees in Aventuras and a unique waterpark, Xcaret, for thrill seeking. One day the guys donned T-shirts that looked like muscle shirts with Speedos and the gals wore “bikini” T-shirts. They wowed the crowds and created a paparazzi scene wherever they went. Texas spirit always gets a reaction in Mexico.
