The Buzz is partnering with Recipe for Success and their VegOut! initiative during March. Join the challenge and help us spread the buzz about veggies to make eating healthy more interesting and fun and for a chance to win great prizes!
How to VegOut with us:
- Register to VegOut.
- Try and track 30 different veggies during the month of March.
- Buzz about VegOut. Visit this page to share your experiences: your veggie successes, new produce you’re trying, unique recipes you’re cooking, and what it’s like to VegOut. The more you participate, the more you’ll qualify to win! The winner will receive a prize package provided by Recipe for Success, including a kids' cookbook written by RFS's founder, Gracie Cavnar, Eat It! Food Adventures with Marco Polo.
We’ll judge the winner based on overall participation. The more buzz, the better!

The Prize
The winner will receive a prize package provided by Recipe for Success, including a kids' cookbook written by RFS's founder, Gracie Cavnar, Eat It! Food Adventures with Marco Polo, plus $100 to Island Grill. In order to be eligible to win, participants must register to VegOut in addition to commenting on our site.
The Buzz created the point system above to show what we believe is worth more “points” but we do not have a system of automatically tracking points. We will be tracking who is participating the most and the person who wins will be based on our perception of who is sharing and commenting the most.
The Winner
VegOut begins March 1 and ends March 31.
Winner Notification
The winner will be notified via email on April 1, 2015.
Prize Pickup
The winner must pick up the prize in person no later than May 1, 2015 at 5 p.m. (CST) at The Buzz Magazines office, located at 5001 Bissonnet, Suite 100, Bellaire, TX 77401 or the prize will automatically be forfeited.
Eligibility
Employees of The Buzz Magazines and Recipe for Success and their immediate families are encouraged to participate in the conversations about VegOut but are not eligible to win prizes.
