The Memorial Middle School seventh-grade girls B2 basketball team recently won its district tournament. After an undefeated season, the Eagles were victorious in the final championship. Together with her teammates, Alyssa Elias (pictured, right) moved past Spring Branch Middle School to win the championship game 17 to 16. Coached by Lauren Simpson, the winning teammates are Emme Patterson, Michelle Fu, Reece Weir, Leigh Robinson, Sally Lichtman, Jessica Bucek, Kendra Evans, Gillian Holloway, Lilly White, Alyssa Elias, Allison Fuller, Ellie Ashby, Natalija Dimitrijevic, Taylor Thornton and Nikki Altmann.
