High School for the Performing and Visual Arts alumni Jesse Madera (at right) and Nell Teare are pursuing their music and theater dreams in Los Angeles. After graduating from HSPVA in 2000, both moved to New York City to attend the prestigious NYU Tisch School of the Arts. They both live in Los Angeles now, where Jesse has begun making a name for herself as a singer and songwriter and Nell acts in both film and television. Recently, Nell turned her talents to the other side of the camera as a writer and director. With Jesse set to release The River, the first track from her album Belle and the Claytons, it was only fitting that Nell direct the accompanying music video for her lifelong best friend. Check out The River at belleandtheclaytons.com or on iTunes.
