Guests packed the Houston Junior League ballroom for the third annual Boots & Bling fundraiser and fashion show benefitting Passages Treatment Center for Women, located in Spring Branch. The fashion show was emceed by Courtney Zavala, and the event’s master of ceremonies was Ernie Manouse of Houston Public Media. Guests enjoyed bidding on silent-auction items, watching a fashion show by Marlo Miller Boutique, and listening to guest speaker Lisa Goosmann, who told her daughter’s story of recovery from a parent’s perspective. Lisa credited Passages for helping her daughter move from an alcoholic teenager to a young woman who completed college and is currently in graduate school.
