Bellaire Little League held its 62nd Opening Day Ceremonies, and about 475 players, families, coaches and volunteers enjoyed a great event. Radio personality Steve Fixx emceed; NFL quarterback and Little League dad Ryan Fitzpatrick was the featured speaker. Fitzpatrick’s inspiring talk focused on hard work and the importance of education to make your own future, no matter your talent level. Diane Sizemore coordinated the event, which included games, food trucks and stations, and the traditional parade of teams.
