Benefit for Jung Center
About 500 supporters of The Jung Center, including (pictured, from left) Pittman McGehee Jr., Debby Francis, Dan Harris, Judy Tate, Pittman McGehee and Lynn Baird poured into the River Oaks Country Club for the 29th Annual Spring Benefit. Judy and Charles Tate spearheaded The Jung Center’s benefit dinner, which paid tribute to McGehee, former dean of Christ Church Cathedral and a Jungian analyst, and McGehee Jr., a psychologist in private practice in Austin. The two have recently collaborated in Austin and hope to open a center there. The event raised more than $222,000 for The Jung Center, which offers classes on psychological, artistic and intellectual topics for the community. See junghouston.org.
