Over 100 guests attended a book launch and “Good France” celebration for Marie LeNotre (pictured, center, with Scott and Cathy Valby) for her new book Appetites: A Memoir. The event took place at Culinary Institute LeNotre and Kris Bistro, and all book proceeds from the evening were donated to the Gaston LeNotre Scholarship Fund. Good France is a global event celebrated at more than 1,300 French restaurants and embassies worldwide. Seen in the crowd were French Consul Sujiro Seam and his wife Jane, Clarice Snokhous, Beverly Kauffman, Rosemary Houck, Paula Sutton and Bill Gross, Jane Page and James Crump, Dora and Godfried Dekeyser, Tyri and David Schiek, Jacqueline Hamilton Taylor and Bill Taylor, and Claire Smith. The book is available for purchase at River Oaks Bookstore, Barnes & Noble, amazon.com, and Bright Sky Press.
