Over 475 supporters, including (pictured, from left) Jo Ann Petersen, Ronda Robinson, Cheryl Boblitt and Angela James, enjoyed Covenant House Texas’ Big Top-themed gala “Circus Carnivale” at the Hilton Americas-Houston ballroom. Bright red- and black-striped tablecloths covered the tables, while carousel horses served as the centerpieces. Stilt walkers and jugglers delighted the guests during cocktail hour before the program. The evening generated over $700,000 for homeless and runaway youth at Covenant House Texas. The event was spearheaded by gala chairs Boblitt, James and Petersen and committee members Jacqueline Fair, Tonya Hamilton, Mary Eads, Amanda Lundquist, Linda Bell, Julie Combs Rogers, Aimee Snoots, Linda Ligon and June Reeder.
