More than 450 guests, including Ann and John Bookout (pictured), enjoyed a spring evening at the annual Bayou Bend Garden Party. Visitors gathered at the historic River Oaks estate for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres under a garden tent in the south lawn. Surrounded by flowers, guests enjoyed Southern comfort food and dynamic musical performances by jazz saxophonist David Caceres and the Hustlers Brass Band. Seen in the mix were David and Pam Ott, Jim and Sharyn Weaver, Margaret Alkek Williams and Jim Daniel, Mary Cullen, Charles and Anne Duncan, Meredith and Cornelia Long, Wallace and Jeanie Kilroy Wilson, John and Bobbie Nau, Stuart and Eliza Stedman, and Colleen and John Kotts.
