I am not your usual household pet. I am a bearded dragon, and I love to eat crickets, mealworms and the occasional handful of finely chopped vegetables. Kale is my favorite, and I usually eat it sitting on the counter next to my owner doing his homework. I spend most of my day in my atrium where I get warmth from heating lamps. I love it when my owner pulls me out to play. I like to hang from his shirt and sit on his head and shoulders, and I really like to be wrapped in a blanket to watch TV with him. My best friend and chaser is Wrigley, a Goldendoodle whom I cuddle with “occasionally,” but he likes to lick me a bit too much. Thankfully, I am pretty easy going, unless you’re a cricket or mealworm.
