Rice University seniors John Clay Reeves and Kirby Taylor (pictured, with his mother Gina Taylor) were named to the 2015 Conference USA Baseball All-Academic Team. There were only 12 students in the league who received this honor for their success both on the field and in the classroom with good grades. Taylor, who grew up in Bellaire, has a .347 batting average and a 3.42 grade point average. Reeves has a .335 batting average and a 3.33 grade point average.
