A trip to remember
George and DiAnn Sutherland (pictured, in a Provence hilltop village) ventured to France this summer. They embraced the wonders of Provence, and enjoyed its charming people, food, wine, art and centuries-old Roman aqueducts. A particular highlight for the two was the gorgeous fields of red poppies in full bloom and lavender in full bud, about to bloom. They took a lesson in French cuisine, and their personal chef took them to market to shop and back to the hotel to guide them through the preparation of lunch and a wine tasting. After nine days of the Tauck Culturious tour in Provence with their beloved guide, Erica, they took the train to Nice to enjoy three days on the Côte d’Azur.
