Friends from Houston and Sugar Land gathered at the Marsh House on Avery Island, Louisiana, to see Jennifer Buenik and Nicholas Altman say their wedding vows. The setting outdoors among towering oak trees dripping with chandeliers was out of a fairytale book. Ten minutes before the ceremony was to begin, rain appeared. However just as Jennifer stepped on the aisle with her parents, the sun beamed. Later, four minutes of fireworks shot up as the band Memphis Train Revue played Don’t Stop Believing. The parents of the couple, Donna and George Buenik, Carol and William Simmons, and Mickey Altman, were thrilled to celebrate and see them off to their honeymoon at Jumby Bay.
