Camp Mystic traditions
Olivia Grobmyer, an eighth grader at St. John’s School, and her cousin Elizabeth Fisher, an eighth grader at Grady Middle School (pictured, from left), spent their sixth summer in a row at Camp Mystic for Girls in Hunt. They are continuing the family tradition, as their mothers, sisters Melissa Grobmyer and Amanda Fisher, attended Mystic in the 1970s and 80s, and Elizabeth’s great-great aunt Pauline Sternenberg attended in the 1920s. Olivia and Elizabeth spent the month of July horseback riding, canoeing, and earning medals in riflery and archery.
