Ellevate, a women’s networking organization, has launched a Houston chapter, with Jennifer Roosth as president. About 130 women executives gathered at Tootsies West Ave to get to know each other and see a “back to the basics” runway show. Sushana Castle, Amy Hertz, Liz Crosswell, Misti Pace Krahl, Mindy Fein and Rachel Tenenbaum were seen mingling over champagne, SlimRitas and Nothing Bundt Cakes. Lidya Osadchey, CEO of Escape Family Services, spoke about a meaningful career with heart, and CEO Lucy Corona, who founded the SlimRitas brand of low-calorie margaritas, gave pointers on growing a biz. Fulfilling mind and body accomplished.
