West University Elementary students, including kindergartener Sachin Jhunjhunwala (pictured), are gearing up for annual October fundraisers, which include the Halloween Dash 5k and Kids Fun Run on Oct. 17. The registration closing date is Oct. 14. The Boo Bash Carnival is Oct. 24 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the school grounds. Children can partake in the fun and have lunch and sweets, and play games. Parents and adults can enjoy the shopping bazaar. The school welcomes the entire community to the event. See westupto.org.
