The Fierce and Fabulous Soiree to benefit PetSet featured the celebrity canine Bretagne, touted as the last living search-and-rescue dog from Ground Zero. Partygoers nibbled on mini beef Wellingtons and caviar Twinkies before dinner, and $275,000 was raised. Twin sisters and co-chairs Tena Lundquist Faust and Tama Lundquist and Patti Murphy were thrilled at the sellout event of 400-plus guests at The Astorian. Jan Duncan, animal advocate, was the well-deserved honoree. Applauding at the 11th-year benefit were emcee Melissa Wilson, Debbie Festari, Hershey Grace, Ed McMahon, Ginger and Dick Hite, Paula Mott, Carmina Zamorano, Judy Nichols, Hallie Vanderhider and Mauney Mafrige. D.J. Senega spun tunes for two hours at the after party.
