Lamar Texans Win Bi-District Playoff vs. Morton Ranch High School

The Lamar Texans continued their undefeated streak in the first round playoff game vs. the Morton Ranch Mavericks, 38-17.
Dua'Vadis Williams started the scoring with a 1-yard touchdown, followed late in the first quarter by Jordan Stevens with a 32-yard interception return.
In the second quarter, Texan Will Fallon answered a Morton Ranch field goal by kicking a 36-yard field goal.
In the second half, following a Maverick touchdown, Texans Jai'ran Traylor scored with a 4-yard run, Ta'Zhawn Henry touchdowned with a 33-yard run and Caleb Jolivette delivered a 44-yard run touchdown,. The Mavericks squeezed in a touchdown in the last 30 seconds of the game, but the Texans triumphed 38-17 to move to the Area Playoffs.
The Lamar Texans will face the Eisenhower HS Eagles this Saturday, Nov. 21, 1 p.m., Thorne Stadium.
