Live long and prosper
Virginia Steppe, Leeza Gibbons, Terry Huffington and Alissa Maples (pictured, from left) were among more than 300 supporters at the Baylor College of Medicine Huffington Center on Aging Women’s Health Summit and Luncheon at River Oaks Country Club. Chairs Maples and Steppe spent the morning visiting and learning from speakers Dr. Doris Taylor and Nick Buettner on stem cells and secrets to a long life. Tom Koch was the emcee for the educational portion of the event. The keynote speaker and award recipient for the Anne Morrow Lindbergh award for living with grace and distinction was Gibbons, a television personality and philanthropist.
